About Deanna

I am a clairvoyant, clairaudient, clairsentient and claircognizant psychic medium, channel and paranormal investigator. (See the F.A.Q.'s for more information about these terms.

I began providing sessions to clients in 2000. My mission is to be of service to humanity, both alive and deceased. I am a white witch who advocates for the Greater Good of All, and follows the moral code, "Harm none, do what ye will”, which emphasizes one's responsibility to prevent harm to others, and holding oneself accountable. I am also a firm believer in God (“Source”), Angels, and Saints. To learn more about how it is possible to be both a witch, and believe in God, see the F.A.Q.s. I believe my abilities are a gift from Source. I consider myself a lifelong student of intuition, mediumship and channeling. I do not know everything, I believe that when people claim to know everything, they are closed to new possibilities.

My earliest psychic memory was at age six when I accurately predicted a lottery number, resulting in my mother and a neighbor winning.

Around this age, I also saw a full body apparition, a spirit, in the upstairs bathroom.

I told my mother, "I can see a spirit in the upstairs bathroom." My mother, concerned it was an intruder, told me to stay downstairs while she bravely went upstairs to confront the intruder. She could not see what I could see.

I continued to have psychic experiences in childhood and through adolescence. I was often able to tell who was calling when the phone rang– a psychic caller id.

My first experience with channeling was in 1996. During this spontaneous channeling, I had the flu and woke up in the middle of the night, too sick to sleep, and asked out loud, "Why do I keep getting sick?" I was very surprised when I, clairaudiently, heard an elaborate answer in my head. I grabbed a notebook and began writing down all the information coming through– my need to focus on self-care.

In my late 20's I began having contact with those who were deceased, both while I was awake and asleep. The most vivid experience I recall was in 1999, when I received a message for a stranger from an unknown deceased person.  I had no idea how I was going to find this stranger. This happened while on vacation, and that day I decided to go shopping. It became clear to me that the message was meant for a customer I saw in a store. I approached the woman, cautiously and respectfully, and told her I had a message from her deceased sister, and asked if she was open to hearing it. She was.

As an adult I dedicated myself to cultivating and expanding my abilities. I began fully stepping into my values and dedicating myself to learning, growing, healing and being of service. I feel grateful for my gifts, and the experiences they have afforded me. You may read more about my process and experiences in the Blog.

I've had a number of interesting experiences during paranormal investigations. Occasionally, I go to people's homes to help with a haunting.

I've also had spirits pop by my place. This has never felt negative or scary. It begins with sensing the energy of a presence. Sometimes I know the spirit, sometimes I do not. When strangers do a pop-in, it is often because they sense my energy, like a beacon, energetically shining out and at times, attracting visits.

As in waking reality, I don't leave my front door open for anyone to stroll through. So I do keep my "energetic door" closed. My most precious visits have been from my dog who passed in 2018.

I have a B.S. in Human Services, and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology, both from Lesley University.  In 2009, I became a certified herbalist, graduating from the Boston School of Herbal Studies. I’ve had many teachers over the years. I studied with psychic Judith Orloff, M.D., and channel Kurt Leland for many years. My beloved Cindy Kaza, an evidential psychic medium best known for her work on paranormal shows on the Travel Channel, helped me hone my mediumship skills.

I have been featured on podcasts, on radio, in books, and in academia.  I was written up by professor Robert Fox, LICSW, in a paper he presented in academic forums entitled: "Spirituality in Existential Practice: Reconsidering Spirituality through Phenomenology". I am included in several books by Kurt Leland. In August of 2019, I was interviewed about my encounter with a Nature Spirit, on Ben Eno's radio program "Behind the Paranormal". In November of 2020, I was a guest on Lisa Theriault's podcast "Supernatural Pet Sightings" to discuss some of my communication with pets. In January of 2021, I was featured on the "Near Death Experience" podcast for an interview about one of my Spiritual Transformative Experiences (STE).

I love creating art, reading, writing, nature, and animals.  I study neuroscience passionately, and I currently have a dog named “Stevie Nicks.”
